2000년 6월 28일 - 국내 최대 인터넷 포털서비스 업체 다음커뮤니케이션(대표이사 이재웅, www.daum.net)은 오늘 미국 증권관리위원회(Securities and Exchange Commission)에
기업공개 신청(Public Filing)을 마치고, 다음달 발행가격 결정(Pricing)을 거쳐 나스닥 (Nasdaq) 상장을 추진중이라고 공식 발표했다.

금번 다음의 나스닥 상장과 관련 세계적 금융서비스 회사인 메릴린치(Merrill Lynch & Co.,)와 CSFB(Credit Suisse First Boston)가 주간사로 활동하고 있으며, 총 발행 ADS(미국예탁증서, American Depositary Shares)는 1,000만주로 원주와의 교환비율은 5:1 이다.

다음은 현재 미국 증권관리위원회(SEC)에 등록신청 및 등록서류 제출을 마치고, 오는 29일부터 공모를 위한 해외로드쇼 활동을 통해 다음달 7월중 발행가격을 결정한 후 나스닥에 상장하게 될 예정이다.
