Daum achieves 22.4 billion won of revenues due to improved advertisement revenues

October 31, 2001 - Daum Communications(CEO, Lee Jae-woong, www.daum.net) announced that its revenues for the third quarter has increased 196% compared to the previous year to reach 22.4 billion won. Compared to the second quarter, it has made an 8% growth.
Daum contributed its growth to the significant increase from its advertisement revenues despite the overall economic recession and low-demand season of summer.
Daum recorded a small operating profit of 4 million dollars in operating profit and 3 billion won in cash flow in its third quarter. Since it began showing profits in the fourth quarter of 2000, its cash flow is showing continuous growth.
