Daum“s revenue exceeds 200 billion won

Daum Communications (www.daum.net) announced that its revenue exceeds 200 billion won as of November 30 for the first time among Internet companies.
It is about 26 times of the year 1996“s revenue, 7.7 billion won and over two times of last year“s revenue, 90.9 billion won.
It is due to 1) a rapid growth of Shopping, connecting to communities and contents, 2)an increased order of online advertising by intensified marketing strategies, 3) a consistent growth of transaction service based on developing a variety contents and efficient investments.
