Daum Communications (www.daum.net) held a general meeting of stockholders on March 15. Daum appointed three foreign independent directors-David Kim,Alex Vieux, and Alfred Tolle- as part of the initiatives to step up corporate transparency. Daum also composed the Board of Directors with five independent directors. Newly designated directors were Choi, Se-Hoon(CFO), Lim, Bang-Hee(Director & Head of e-Commerce), Chauncey Shey and Alex Vieux.

Chauncey Shey is current CEO of Softbank China holding Company and an executive vice-president of UTStarcom. Alex Vieux is a president & CEO of DARSAR and a direct of Computer Associates and of CheckPoint.
