KakaoTalk Partners with Globe Telecom to Offer Exclusive Data Plan to Users

[Manila, Philippines – August 28, 2013] KakaoTalk, the free, fast and fun mobile messaging application, recently partnered with Globe Telecom to offer exclusive data plans to prepaid subscribers that provide unlimited KakaoTalk messaging and calling for as little as Php20 a day.

Through the partnership, KakaoTalk users who are Globe Telecom subscribers will be able to select from three new exceptional data plans that will offer unlimited KakaoTalk access without the need for Wi-Fi connection.

Users need to pay just Php20 a day to enjoy the complete Kakao experience that comes from the application’s unique and diverse features. Globe subscribers no longer require Wi-Fi connection to freely use KakaoTalk and connect with their friends and family. To register for the KakaoTalk20 data plan, which allows users total access to all KakaoTalk services, including unlimited text messages, free voice calls, photo sharing and more, subscribers just need to text KakaoTalk20 to 8888 or dial *143# on their phones.

Other available options are the UNLICHAT25 and the GoUNLI30 plans. UNLICHAT25 lets subscribers enjoy unlimited calls and messaging through KakaoTalk and other major OTT players for only Php25 a day. The GoUNLI30 package is just Php5 more, and it subscribers the same features as UNLICHAT25, with the additional benefit of unlimited calls to Globe/TM numbers and unlimited text messages to all networks. To register, simply dial *143# and select the preferred data option.
