Internal/external customers and employees Incoming report
Incoming reports on violations of the Kakao Community Code of Ethics through hotline, Tell Me Kakao, e-mail, etc.

Community ethics manager Receive reports
The Community's ethics manager shares reports with the concerned subsidiary

Community center/subsidiary Share reports and check facts
The subsidiary conducts a fact-check (Support provided by the Community if needed)

Subsidiary ethics committee Hold a subsidiary ethics committee
Opens an Ethics Committee if the chairperson deems it necessary or if the majority of committee agrees

Subsidiary ethics committee Internally disclose results and share with the informant
Shares the report details, investigation results and the committee's decision internally and with the informant
How to submit a hotline report
The Kakao Community hotline accepts reports and provides consultation on any unjust actions or demands, such as requests for money or entertainment, misuse or abuse of Company assets, improper investment into vendors, leak of confidential information, tamper of documents or data and other corrupt and illegal activities conducted by the Kakao Community Krew. Details of the report and the informant's identity is thoroughly protected to ensure that the informant can submit their report with confidence, and efforts will be made to process the report quickly.

Ethics guideline on receiving gifts and entertainment
Code of Ethics
The Kakao Community employees and family members are prohibited from receiving gifts or entertainment that can create conflicts of interest. Competitors, customers and other business partners are also prohibited from providing gifts and entertainment. Gifts and money must be returned immediately, and gifts and money that has already been received must be submitted to the HR department and processed upon further notice. The Krew shall not request gifts, compensation and/or business-related preferential treatment for the benefit of themselves, their families or friends. Issues may arise in the following events.
- An interested party dines and entertains the Kakao Krew
- An interested party sends money or flowers to a Kakao Krew's personal occasion<
- An interested party provides lecture fees, concert tickets to a Kakao Krew, or pays for their meal for reasons that are justified as training, pep rallies or cultural events
- An interested party offers conveniences that includes rides, lodging expenses and tour guides while accompanying a Kakao Krew for business purposes
- An interested party offers conveniences to a Kakao Krew, including prizes and special discounts
