Kakao promises to keep all information on submitted reports confidential and protect the identity of the individual submitting the report. Any employee who violates our obligation to protect the identity of reporting individuals will be penalized in accordance with Kakao's human resource management regulations. Details of submitted reports will be processed through a rigorous security procedure. Thank you for your proactive interest.

• 1. Confidentiality: The consultant's identity and the contents of the consultation are protected.

  The company keeps the consultant/informer's identity and its contents confidential.

  The acts of asking or revealing the identity of the consultant/informer are prohibited, and the mere attempt of such acts may result in disciplinary review.

  The consultant's identity and the contents of the consultation can be provided or released outside only in the following cases.

  1) When the provision or disclosure is required by law

  2) When provided to an external expert for legal advice after signing a confidentiality agreement.

• 2. Identity Guarantee: Disadvantages due to giving tip-offs, statements and other reports are prohibited.

  The company will keep consultants/informers from receiving any disadvantages and those related may be subject to disciplinary review.

  The consultant/informer can request identity protection, and the Ethics Management Team can take necessary measures such as legal support and department transfer through consultation with the head of human resources and legal department.

• 3. Compensation: If the results of the consultation/report prove to be profitable to the company, the consultant/informer can be compensated.
